Towards the light Of the Moon Swim In a borderless knowing Emotions in motion Making space for life Making space for Love Dilate and distill Catch the spill of wisdom Dripping from the womb Until your cup is full Then pour it on her Earth In libation For all that has been Sacrificed Open Towards the light Of the moon Revel in her shimmering A bare witness Bearing witness To the back and forth Of her tides Bones shifting Like tectonic medicine Under the command Of the unseen New beings Arise From this space Of her openness Leaning towards The light of the Moon

Star dancers
Falling in and out of orbit Light as distance Darkness as proximity To source Like furnace Where warmth is felt Not seen Perforated at the boundary's edge We all tear differently When we part Here is where The self is met The red hue of Is Visible with closed eyes Relieves the coldness of space And in this darkness Once more The warmth is felt The angles and turns The shapes and poses Dancing with the ghost of time And the music of silence We are puzzled In pieces Awaiting the distance Essence held in Tango Cradled by the Spirit in me Two feet become four When I realize Who is dancing with me 1/29/18
I wondered what the baboon Has to do with it all Thoth showed up in the trees I saw A'an balancing on the branches As mother and father battle for power Mother will put father together again Because he has lost himself Two twins in the sky Seek themselves Through me Thoth will speak the words Of the Sun Set time And bring blood Together again The call and response Of the heart On the wind Hold this eye to the light Place this ear to the earth Let us plant our feet on the ground And protect us In the ignorance Of our knowing 7/17/18
I pledge allegiance to no nation Not to this flag Nor the 50 states it claims To hold together I am from that place Where the sky meets the Earth No man's land Simply put I am DIRTY Ash and mineral Each particle Peaced together I am the grain And the mountain Towering Babbling All the way home Ase Aho Hola Aloha Hello Simply I say hello With no nation to hold me And no flag to mold me Island on Black Moored to exile And the shifting port Of understanding I do not believe in these borders I do not believe in unjust law I do not believe in this government Life grabs me by the heart Demanding my attention Inviting me to once again Feel this connection Like little girl again Make world pretty again Set to forgetting the hate That penetrates deeper Than a John Searching the streets For fallen stars... Who am I? Who are you to be asking? Careful of the answers That allude to illusion Island on a version of me That reflects life No matter my status Or if my papers are in order No romanticzing insane If you let go And love does not Greet you in your soul You might not have Really let go Consider the position Of a world in extradition Called home to Mother & Father To explain itself Pull a habeus corpus On your heart Call the body of you home Hold trial And ask each ventricle Who have you been serving? Whose will reigns inside of you? Because no nation can hold you No flag can mold you And in the end No color could define you Be still and listen Whisper me Inhale and exhale me Until the breathing is enough Mirror the mirage and Envision A beautiful scene Of thirst quenched And sorrows soothed We demand for the people Equal access to inspiration A fluidity of motion That cultivates the will To dance We demand for the people Food for stomach and thought What is of the hand Will be done Rest & Rise To regenerate Shift into the shape of life And slip across The border of knowing Into an audible silence Journey into the undone space of you Reflect & refract Be With me In the rounded edge Of this Love 8/8/18
Remember the wolves came And took the fear away No longer afraid Of what lurks in the forest of me Just beyond the clearing And what is seen No howl No snarl No chase The darkness came And it was clear The sun had set on this page This day No thing left in this field But the footprint of leaving The wolves gathered The pack surrounded Their eyes Milky and electric with light Spoke silently One so close I knew it to be ancestor Wrote their truth On my cheek like paper Their breath like ink It is time to move Join us Be wild in this honesty Roam Where the harvest is bountiful You are protected You are guided. Birthing
Will Creating Truth Singing Vision Silently Whole Be Apart Release Ego Rule Breathe through the words
That pierce the throat Like shards of glass Somewhere between Transparency and reflection Swallow hard and speak Let you voice like blood Wield the Word like harmmer and shatter illusion 5/23/17
Yes you should come further down Down into the depths of you Of me and us Until each bound diary Unravels with eyes so close We recognize the gift of blurred vision Lips become transmitters tongues read the frequencies and the heart receives Messages of love from lonely ones moored together Come Between this wood Rest and be still Let the waters envelop as the dock buoys Up and down In the watery space of her Get wet and remember to forget all that is not now Better yet remember it all as now All as love And come down further into the depths So we can meet ourselves On this ocean floor Breathe in with me Rays of sunlight That reach us In the darkness Release with me Fears that keep us Chained Root down In the center of you I'll root down In the center of me So we can be Two Together Aspects Making separation Suspect Not of the flesh But of the heart Cardiac Intel Read the tongue A riot act And los labios Parted Moses entered He brewed in her seas This journey This dance Into freedom Out of chains Linked in love Locked in a kiss Should you go down Further my dear? Surrendered and Succumb Leveled By the infinite moan Of her yes 5/3/17
Maybe the snakes were simply locks the dreaded They said she was a monster That could turn a man to stone It was quite possibly her intellect and wit That made them go hard So they told stories on her Centuries and centuries of stories |
AuthorI am a poet, for better or for worse. It is a way in my being that, ironically has no words. It is a way in my being that finds me when I, and helps me to, forget. I am a poet, for better or for worse. Archives
